Whats happening out there? Man, I’m here at school, and I think it’s finally starting to hit me, school has actually started. Well would you look at that, it’s been a whole month already. I haven’t updated my pages here in a while cuz my Web hosting provider was having some issues. But thats all done and better now.

So today I address the issue, what does it mean to be set apart? Well I guess it’s just more of some thoughts on my ponderings of it. It’s been a transition no doubt coming from BJU here to CSUS. At BJU you set yourself apart by being a ‘Rebel.’ At CSUS, well it’s harder to set yourself apart. Yeah, as a Christian, you do those ‘good’ things. But is that what sets you apart?

I think there is alot more than that to being set apart. Ok, so I do good things. Are people really gonna see that I’m a Christian through that? I think it is a huge part of it. Ok, so I don’t cuss, I don’t smoke, I don’t sleep around, but heck, there are alot of people who do that. I think alot of being set apart is living life with a purpose (hehe, Rick Warren copied me). But really, I think thats where Christians will truly shine. When other people around them see by the way they talk, what they talk about, what they do, and on and on, they will see that eternal/vertical perspective on life. It’s not about Me, oh, so Happy Me. It’s about giving. It’s about loving. It’s about what you can do to impact those around you, and not about what you can soak up.
