Same Old Same Old

Life can be boring and mundane (I looked up mundane in the dictionary, it means, ordinary to this world, not unseen before). However, life is ALWAYS unique. No two persons can share a life. Have you ever thought about how much we can’t share? I can’t share the air I breath in and out with you. Once it comes out its toxic. It’s toxic if it comes out my mouth because it no longer contains no more oxygen. It is also very toxic if it comes out my rear end. It’s all warm, oxygen depleted, probably fungus filled too. If you’re a pretty self centered person, you should be quite happy about the things you can keep to yourself. Your blood flow, your food intake, your tan (or farmer’s tan), tons of stuff.

Now, how the heck were the ideas in the first paragraphy connected to one another? beats me. Here’s what I’m trying to get across to you though. You should never ever ever complain of being bored. Dissatisfied with your present condition? certainly thats acceptable. Boredom indicates dissatisfaction and no intention of changing. Mere dissatisfaction indicates a more possitive outlook and a desire to improve. There in is the key to busting boredom in the butt.

Once you realize this concept of uniquity in all your doings, soon you will take more pride and search for deeper fulfilment in what you’re doing then and there. You’re thinkin, how could I be more satisfied than eating a 6 dollar burger from Carl’s Jr. You’re right, that is definately satisfying. But say you have like 2 hours to kill waiting for a party to start or your friends to come over. Well now those two hours are yours. Only yours! make good use of them, they’re all yours while they last, but if you blow it, never again can you get them back. Boredom would say, ok I have two hours, I’ll just sit here and let my butt cells rust to death. Dissafisfaction would say, “two hours? wow I can do alot for myself in two hours.” Then you’d find the most satisfying accesible thing to do withing your reach for the next two hours. It’s simple economics. “We are all utility maximizers.” Maximize your utility and bust boredom!

Galatians 6:9 — And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
