On this day, Saturday October 7, 2006, we remembered and honored Grandpa at his funeral and memorial service. Many many people showed up to show their love for grandpa and our family. I am amazed at how many people loved my Grandpa. I for one know I will miss him many times over. I will always remember what he taught me in my character and love. He was a many who was always enjoying himself, loved humor and loved God. You can read grandpa’s biography at the Taslim.org website.

Dear David,
I’ve just found and visited your website/blog, and very sad to learn about the passing of your beloved Grandpa. He was such a kind, loving person. He was just like a father figure for me when I was in the states. I am very grateful to have met him and your entire big family.
