Long time…
Man oh man…it has really been a long long time since the last time I wrote here on my site. Been too busy yo. Well whats happenin and hows the Lord moving? The ways are uncountable. I just can’t believe the end of the semester is already here. 2 and a half weeks or 3 and school is Ovah!!! Thats what I’m talkin about, a little relaxation.
God is doing some awesome awesome things. Where to begin? Ok, starting with Crusade at school. Let me start out by saying, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS Coincidence. Why do I say that? Well if you’re a Christian then surely you must know that things in this world happen by design. And if not, well this world would fall apart… Click on yo!
Even though I know this fact in my head I don’t always realize it. So two weeks ago, Easter Sunday was coming up. I was online talkin to Sarah Son and got this bright idea that I should invite people over for Easter, especially if they were far from home or what not. Cuz whos supposed to spend Easter alone right? So the Sunday before Easter I headed to church and was playing violin that morning and low and behold, I meet a guy I’ve never before met, and he’s Malaysian. A foreign exchange student to be exact. So we get talking, and I gave him my number and stuff hoping he’d call or whatever, cuz he goes to CSUS also. Well he didn’t call that week, and I badly wanted to invite him over for Easter. So Easter happens. The following Friday I’m in the Library studying, killing time before Bible Study at my friends Julie and Lori and Sarah’s house.
So who do I meet at the Library? You guessed it, my Malaysian friend is there! yeah whats up!? So I tell him about the Bible Study and ask him to come right? he’s responds by saying “Man, I so wanta go, I have so many questions I’ve been wanting to ask about God!” Totally excited I meet him up a little later that day and take him over to Bible Study with me.
There we are, eating dinner at Bible Study, then we dive into the Word. And then the questions start coming. Predestination, Why should I trust the Bible, Has God really designed life, what about evolution? so many questions. But the answers were flowing. 7 of us Christians from all the different majors, Biology, Math, Psych, Human Development, Art…
So where does the whole No Coincidence fall in place. In retrospect, I think God set it so My Malay friend didn’t come on Easter. Cuz there would have been alot of questions I couldn’t answer thats fo Sho… but at the Bible Study, it was all in place, all by design… Press on, What you’re doing has an effect on Eternity!
