Yahoo Email is Down/Dead 2008. Yahoo Email Can’t Login.

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

As of 10:37PM my Yahoo! Email has been down for over 1.5 hours. Is this a sign of Yahoo’s Email service falling apart? Does Yahoo no longer have the infrastructure to handle their users? Perhaps it’s a Denial of Service attack. Either way rest assured this down time is going to hit them hard in the news tomorrow as well as in user loyalty. Down time is down time. Over 1.5 hours of down time is another. I am somewhat shocked that they would not put a Status to their service’s down time somewhere. Alerting users to the problems they are experiencing would be nice. Yahoo Email Servers are down. If you’re finding the same thing, please comment. Thanks!

Scooters and Mopeds in San Francisco including Tank, Vento and Lance

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

Looking for a Scooter or Moped in San Francisco? I thought I’d put up a post to help out some buddies of mine who have a new scooter store in San Francisco called SFMotoretta. Great store and great people! One of the things I hear people ask is “Why are their prices higher than other people online?” The answer is simple. Most other online dealers sell you unassembled, untested and Unapproved by CARB scooters and motor bikes. Top that all off with their Service Department that actually provides you with the warranty. So in addition to the Manufacturers warranty, they give you an amazing service plan!

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 SP1 Released!

Monday, February 4th, 2008

At last! Vista Service Pack 1 has announced a release! This Windows Service Pack announcement is good news for my laptop which has slowness and problems galore. I’ll probably format before installing SP1. But at last. I’m not one of those haters that screams that everything Vista is bad. I actually like Vista better than XP. Just some random quirks and slowness here and there that I bet they’ll fix in SP1! Finally! Enjoy it everyone!

Free Couch Sacramento Area

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

Free Couch in Sacramento or not to Free Couch in Sacramento. You’re gonna hate me. But I don’t have a free couch in Sacramento. I want to see how high this will rank as opposed to Craigslist. Craigslist of course comes up first when you query “Free Couch Sacramento” as it stands. This is only an experiment. You can comment below if you think this is an evil test. Thanks for reading!

Comcast Triple Play - Voice, Internet, Cable TV

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

Currently in my home/office I am running AT&T DSL at 6Mbps/1.5Mbps. I’m also running Dish Network for TV and AT&T for Telephone. Combined I’m paying $120.00 for all my services. I must note that Dish sucks for me! I lose signal every other day and they’ve tried to fix the problem with no success. 3 Dish receivers, 2 House calls, and dozens of phone calls to Dish it’s time to switch. So I looked at Comcast. They offer the triple play service which covers all my communication needs for the house. Advertised they’re offering $99 / month for all three. Voice is unlimited across the US, Canada and US Territories.

After telling my comcast phone rep I was switching from other services she kindly offered me the services for only $79.99/month! Wow what a deal. Cable internet runs at 6-12Mbps in my area so I’m excited about that. TV and Phone! I’m keeping my fingers crossed but if the service turns out to be whats being promised I’ll be thrilled to say the least. a $50.00/month savings is great! Anyone else use this Comcast Triple play stuff? Let me know what ya think!
