Here we are again. Seems like we were just here last year. Getting sleepy, classes are coming to a highpoint sort of. You’re either facing midterms or finals. Always seems like an irony to me. Just when I should be kicking into high gear for the last stretch of the semester thats exactly when my mind and body start to get lazy. I know I start to slack off, I start to do all the fun assignments and forget about the important (aka. Hard) assignments.

So what is the source of motivation. The first thing that comes to mind is GPA. Cuz you know how Asians are, it’s all about the GPA. If you’re not at least at a 3.9, you may as well quit school. :-) Luckily there is grace for the “Happy with a 3.0″ students. Ok so GPA may not be a good motivation. What about, the job you are preparing for when you get out of College? Ok then there’s grad school first. Yeah but if you don’t do well you may as well forget about grad programs. Lastly there is girls. Cuz we all know girls like smart guys. =) j/p…

Quite an intimidating title eh? :-) Some recent trials in my school life have really forced me to dig deep into my thoughts, and into the Word of God. The talks I’ve had with myself and with the Holy Spirit have been tiresome, but necessary. So the question that I attempt to think through in the form of words for us today is, “How are we to stand as Christians in the face of the Evil One?”

First we must realize that the Evil One can take on many forms. The particular evil I am facing is going to be very different than the Evil One you are facing. So in more clear terms, Satan is going to tempt you and I in very different ways. He is going to exploit our individual weaknesses, and look for loop holes or pry at our strengths. Keep Reading on…
